What the company did –
Coolants plus came up with a solution to a problem that Pilot was having concerning high costs of retail washer fluid in times of low supply. They located sources for the product closer to our stores. This solution lowered our transportation costs.

The solution for our retail washer fluid also positioned us to save money on the case price for washer fluid which helped our retail margins in late 2008 and also early 2009.

Coolants Plus demonstrated excellent flexibility in executing the solution and excellent speed of delivery to hit the different delivery deadlines. In addition, the communication with our stores receiving full truck loads of product was coordinated a day in advance to give our store manager time to staff for receiving the items.
